Jean-Christophe is CEO and co-founder at senseFly Ltd., a fast growing high-tech company specialized in autonomous mini-drones for professional applications such as field surveying, 3D mapping, mining, construction, land management, conservation, and inspection. In 2012, senseFly joined the Parrot group, maker of the famous AR.Drone & Bebop consumer drones.

Jean-Christophe has strong links with the Laboratory of Intelligent Systems (LIS), at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), where he co-supervised several PhD students in aerial, bio-inspired and swarm robotics, and taught a master-level course in mobile robotics.

Aside his professional occupations, Jean-Christophe enjoy flying as a private pilot. He started with a glider license progressively moved to single-engine-piston airplanes to helicopters. He now regularly practices mountain landing with small airplane, country-side landings with Robinson helicopters and aerobatics with an Extra 200 aircraft (video).
