Romeo Durscher Director of Education, DJI

Romeo Durscher is Director of Education at DJI, the world’s leading maker of unmanned aerial vehicles. Born and raised in Switzerland, Romeo came to DJI after 13 years of working at NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory where he did project management, education and public outreach including social media. He’s an industry expert advising and educating first responders, humanitarian organizations, industries, governments and individuals on the beneficial use, incorporation and safe integration of DJI hardware and software to their missions. Romeo speaks at conferences, hosts workshops and teaches classes around the world. He’s made appearances on shows from ABC’s Good Morning America to CNBC’s Squawk Box and had work published in WIRED, Rotor Drone Magazine, Shutterbug and more. When he’s not working you can find Romeo somewhere on the globe taking pictures from the sky.
