Dr. Niamh Tallon Fertility Specialist

Dr Niamh Tallon is a Fertility Specialist at Olive Fertility and at a satellite clinic in North Vancouver. In addition to treating women facing infertility. Dr Tallon is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia UBC and is clinical instructor. She also works in the women’s reproductive health program, BCWH, dealing with early pregnancy complications.

Dr Tallon has a special interest in the impact of aging on fertility treatments and developing strategies to overcome this. She has recently co-authored a guideline on fertility preservation.

Dr Tallon is married with two children. Her own fertility challenges have given her a special empathy and understanding of the many emotional, physical and relationship issues faced by women and couples with facing infertility.

Dr. Tallon completed her honours science degree from Trinity College Dublin and did her medical training at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. While getting her medical degree, Dr Tallon met her husband and moved to Canada. She did her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Saskatchewan. She then came to Vancouver to pursue a fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (GREI) at the University of British Columbia.
