Dean R. Jensen Sprott Toscana Capital Corporation

Mr. Jensen is a career banker by profession who has gained his broad base of banking and finance experience from exposure to a wide variety of commercial, corporate and energy related concerns over the past 35 years. Prior to being acquired by Sprott Inc. in July 2012, Mr. Jensen was Managing Partner and Vice president of Toscana Capital Corporation, a private merchant bank specializing in providing mezzanine debt financing to mid-sized private and public resource companies. Prior to joining Toscana in 2005, Mr. Jensen was employed by the National Bank of Canada where he held the position of Senior Manager, Energy Lending responsible for managing and administering an oil and gas natural gas portfolio with authorizations exceeding $2.2 billion. Mr. Jensen holds a Canadian Investment Manager designation and is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
