Calyx Bio-Ventures Inc.

Calyx Bio-Ventures Inc. trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "CYX" and owns a majority stake in its operating subsidiary called Agrisoma Inc. Agrisoma has commercialized a new variety of oil seed for the production of energy feedstock crops called Carinata. This crop provides the highest quality oil feedstock, that when refined into biodiesel and biojet fuel, directly competes with petroleum-based fuels.

2012 was a year of major milestones with the commercialization of our seed drop and two test flights that made aviation history. The first flight in April 2012 saw Porter Airlines fly the first biofuel-powered revenue flight in Canada that contained biofuel refined from our crop. The second flight in October 2012 was the world's first civil jet flight powered by 100-per-cent-renewable, drop-in biofuel refined from our crop. Calyx sees its proprietary crop to have the potential for a multi-billion dollar impact on the renewable fuel and agriculture industries.
