About

EMED Mining is an exploration and development company that seeks to grow shareholder value by developing copper and gold properties in Europe.

EMED Mining was formed in 2005 by Australian mining specialists and is headquartered in Cyprus, the site of its first project and a location geographically central to the Company’s area of interest.

The primary goal of EMED Mining is to redevelop the Rio Tinto open-pit copper mine near Seville, Spain. Mining ceased in 2000 due to low copper prices and the Company is refurbishing the operation with the aim of restarting the mine in the second half of 2013.

EMED Mining’s second principal asset is the Biely Vrch gold project in Slovakia, where a preliminary economic assessment (scoping study) indicates substantial economic viability for development.

EMED Mining is listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange under the symbol EMED and on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol EMD.
